Myzel Risin’ is a family-owned mushroom farm founded in 2023, rooted in curiosity, care, and a shared belief in the power of mushrooms to nourish body, mind, and connection.
Our journey didn’t begin in agriculture alone. It began through two very different personal wellness paths, shaped by lived experience, research, and a deep respect for the body’s ability to restore balance when supported thoughtfully. Along the way, mushrooms became more than an interest — they became a bridge between healing, creativity, and purpose.
Mushrooms drew each of us in early, and later through our own creative practices, disciplines, and personal wellness journeys. Though our paths began in different worlds—academia, art, and data—a shared curiosity grew into deeper study, cultivation, and formulation. Over time, that curiosity became a meaningful part of our own wellness and a commitment: to share what had genuinely supported us, offered in its cleanest and most intentional form.
“Myzel” is the German word for mycelium — the underground network that connects ecosystems, transfers nutrients, and strengthens everything it touches.
The name reflects both our heritage and the quiet, interconnected nature of mushrooms themselves. As siblings, we connect to our roots through family, tradition, and a shared respect for systems that work in harmony. Our family roots run deep in Germany — tracing back to farmers and restaurateurs who understood food not as product, but as craft and care meant to be shared.
Our Spore-to-Store Mushroom Cultivation Process
At Myzel Risin’, everything we do is rooted in integrity. From spore to store, our mushrooms are cultivated on organic substrates, carefully monitored through each stage of growth, and harvested at peak vitality to preserve their natural qualities.
Our functional mushrooms are crafted using ultrasonic and alcohol dual-extraction — a method chosen to access full-spectrum compounds and maximize bioavailability, not follow trends. We put research behind every decision and stand firmly behind science, knowing that what happens at each step shapes the final result.
Like mycelium, we believe everything is connected.
